Michael R. Davis Celebrates his 40th Year Anniversary with WL&P
The partners of WL&P would like to congratulate Michael R. Davis on his 40th Anniversary with the firm. When Mr. Davis joined the firm on June 5, 1967, there were only 14 firm members including our founding partner Mr. Wenderoth, and our other named partners Mr. Lind & Ponack.

Mr. Davis became a partner on January 1, 1971, just three and a half years after joining the firm. During his tenure, Mr. Davis has seen the firm grow from 14 people including partners, associates and support staff to our current total of 47 and still growing. Mr. Davis likes to regale the newer generation of the WL&P team with tales of files less than an inch thick, CFR’s the size of Reader’s Digest, carbon paper copies, and the controversial introduction of the teletype machine into the firm (long since replaced by the fax and email).  He beams with pride when he tells visitors to the firm that even as much as things have changed technologically and with respect to the patent practice, quite a bit has stayed the same.

In his 40 year tenure and as the Managing Partner for more than 20 years, Mr. Davis has played a major role in maintaining our firm culture of excellence in a friendly environment. His partners and the staff of WL&P are extremely grateful for his service, his leadership and the example he has set over the last 40 years.

Congratulations Michael R. Davis on 40 Successful Years and Thank You.
